Isaiah 3:10 New International Version

Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

Reflection

With the unprecedented times unfolding each day, sicknesses and diseases everywhere and loss of life due to the prevalent Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) majorly known as Covid-19. “It is well” is the hardest statement to accept and be able to synthesize.

Nevertheless, the word of God is true and was fashioned to serve us on all weathers. There times we focus on what is not working around us and are blurred to see what God is doing. The Bible says in Romans 8:28 all things work together for good for those that fear the Lord and are called according to His purpose. It takes confidence in God’s love and trusting His judgment to be able to see the GOOD in the bad.

Our ability to trust in Him is always put to test during difficulties. How solid were your confessions before the tragedy? It’s always easy to see God at work when we experience good breaks and great breakthroughs. I want to remind you of the song, “The God of the mountain is still the God of the valley”.

As I write this, I would not want you to miss on today’s theme. This is a prophetic word that speaks to us in times of turmoil. God was encouraging the Israelites through prophet Elisha. He is doing the same to us today. Take note of the first word “Tell”, you need someone to remind you of the word of God over your life. Here I am to tell you, no matter how hard we are hit, the GOOD PLAN that God spoke to us through Jeremiah in chapter 29:11 is still intact. God has not lost and he is not Wondering where to begin after this. In due season we shall eat the fruits of our labour. Continue trusting in God and continue praying with thanksgiving knowing He who promised is faithful. Even if we are faithless the Bible says he remains faithful for He cannot disown Himself. Faithfulness is the nature of God (His default settings).

PRAYER

Oh Lord God Almighty, I come before your presence to thank you for the good plans you have for my life, family, nation and the body of Jesus Christ. I pray oh Lord, enable me to see good in every situation that I am going through knowing that only you can allow whatever happens to me. I put my confidence in you and look up to you for grace. I declare your word in my life and I believe it is well with me, my family, my friends, my nation and everyone that I care about. I commit them to you and ask that you open their eyes to see you as well. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

NB: If you have prayed this prayer begin thanking God for your life and for everything that matters to you. Begin declaring it is well and avoid grumbling and complaining so that God will work in your life. God bless you.
