𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹

Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was passing by and though his current occupation wasn’t that bad yet not very rewarding he grasped a truth (revelation) that nobody else had at the moment.

He shouted from the blues;

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 or 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘁𝗰? 𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲. 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁.

He took the joke serious by persisting amidst the crowds warnings and to his surprise Jesus heard and called him over. What!! It has worked? He got more excited and encouraged to Persist. Amidst the crowd’s noise he has heard me???

I will ask for what I want (He couldn’t retaliate).

The same crowd that was embarrassed by his lack of ethics and etiquettes encouraged him to rise up and meet Jesus. Without much ado he dropped his signature (the clock). This guy is beyond repair… They must have thought

. How could he? Jesus is only passing by and besides he doesn’t have a house to put him, what will he eat tomorrow? Some people are the reason for their trouble, what’s his problem? But there was no time for that.

𝗛𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗺𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱… 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗲𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱…. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗻𝗼𝘄? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻.

The same people who had seen Jesus heal couldn’t qualify Bartimaeus for healing. They had sealed his fate and were ok giving him a shekel or half of it. You know?

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗱𝗱𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻…. 𝗔𝗺 𝗜 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆?
